About Us
The St. John Guidebook is a print and online travel guide, created specifically for St. John, VI. We highlight St. John's white sandy beaches, hiking trails and the US Virgin Islands National Park. And we point travelers to our favorite spots across the island, from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay.

St. John Guidebook History
Linda Smith Palmer, a local cartoonist, began creating her hand-drawn and hand-written St. John Map & Pocket Guide in 1981, and created the first full-fledged Guidebook in 1984.

Since then, the Maps and Guidebook have been updated and printed each year for the past 45 years by a few groups of dedicated owners, all passionate about teaching visitors about St. John and St. Thomas.

The artwork of Linda Smith Palmer and Denise Barbier is featured throughout our print and online editions.
About the Owners
We're Jessica and Aaron Jacobson, the husband and wife team behind Island Treasure Maps.

We're avid travelers and beachgoers. And from the moment we pulled into Cruz Bay, we were in love with Love City. Every day we're looking for new ways to tell travelers about this wonderful place.
